The following are examples of some of the tests that we may pick from depending on your specific needs. The standard tests may be covered through your insurance
DUTCH Plus™: The DUTCH Plus™ offers an extensive assessment of sex and adrenal hormones and their metabolites. It also assesses the Cortisol Awakening Response (CAR) and includes the insomnia cortisol sample. This is a urine and saliva test that is done at home.
GI-MAP: The GI-MAP is a comprehensive stool test that utilizes qPCR technology to detect parasites, bacteria, fungi, and more, allowing us to create personalized treatment protocols to address gut dysfunction. This test is done at home.
Thyroid Panel (Comprehensive) with Antibodies: Comprehensive Thyroid Panel w/ Antibodies goes above and beyond routine thyroid tests, which only measure thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) and total T4. It gives a comprehensive view of thyroid function by measuring TSH, T3 (free and total), T4 (free and total), and anti-thyroglobulin and thyroid peroxidase antibodies. This test requires a blood draw.
Hormone Panel: Depending on what stage of life you are in and if you are on hormone replacement therapy, would dictate which test would be best for you. Would want to include all the sex hormones (estrogen, progesterone, testosterone) and could include estrone, estradiol, cortisol, DHEA and others. These tests could be saliva (at home), blood draw or urine (may be at home).
Apolipoprotein B: This is a single-marker test measuring apolipoprotein B. It is used to help assess cardiovascular health and your risk of developing coronary artery disease. This test requires a blood draw.
The Lipid Panel with Total Cholesterol/HDL Ratio: The Lipid Panel with Total Cholesterol/HDL Ratio is used to analyze your risk of cardiovascular disease. This test requires a blood draw.
Hemoglobin A1c: This is a single-marker test measuring hemoglobin A1c (HbA1c). HbA1c is used to monitor long-term glucose control. This test requires a blood draw.
CBC with differential: The CBC with differential provides a broad assessment of blood cells. It evaluates your overall health and screens for a variety of diseases and conditions. This test requires a blood draw.
